It doesn’t take much effort to detach the top panel with the fingers and while it is a plus if you look at the handling, it is a minus when it comes to getting damaged due to falling. The magnetic pins keep the top panel stuck to the body but we fear that it is not that strong to keep the whole thing together if the mouse falls from a table. The first thing that has a high chance of happening is that the top panel may come off or even break. The Pebble M350 is a bit on the fragile side, especially the removable top panel, and may get a scratch or dent on falling from a considerable height or break if someone accidentally steps or sits on it. We have been using it for some days and there have been no such issues. However, we got accustomed to using the mouse by holding it from the sides with the thumb and the ring finger without having had to go through any strain or pain in the fingers or wrists. The small size of the mouse may not please some users as it doesn’t fit an average-sized palm and also, does not grip the back of the palm as the conventional mice do. The low decibel levels of the clicks are certainly useful if someone is sleeping in your room and you have to do some work on your laptop with the help of the mouse. The clicks are barely audible in office environments and can be heard very faintly when using it in a secluded space with very less ambient noise and few people. Logitech claims that this is a ‘silent’ mouse and to a certain extent it is but you do expect that in a mouse that comes at a price tag of Rs 1,999. It’s a mouse with a mechanical scroll wheel and a sensor resolution of 1000 dpi. The scroll speed, though, could have been a little faster, but overall, it gets most of the jobs done. We didn’t face any problems or hiccups while using the mouse with either of the connections. What makes the dua connectivity feature impressive is that you don’t need to remove the USB dongle to use the mouse in Bluetooth mode. Now, it is in pairing mode and once paired, the light switches to a steady blue. Switch on the Bluetooth on your laptop and long-press the USB/Bluetooth button on the mouse till it begins blinking rapidly in blue. The other way is the Bluetooth connection. Your mouse is now connected via USB and ready for use. The indicator close to the power button will glow in green steadily, without blinking. If you wish to use it with the USB connector dongle, plug in the connector to the USB port of your laptop, switch on the mouse and press the Bluetooth/USB button once. Simply click next from the first screen, and you’ll be on the screen that asks you to simply turn off and turn on the wireless mouse or keyboard.Logitech Pebble M350 mouse: Performance The mouse can be used via USB and Bluetooth connections both.
